Access local running application from phone or other pc on network when using Parallels

0
I am currently building an application using parallels on my Mac.  I can run the app and access using the Windows VM  or from the Mac side, however I cannot access it from any other machine on my local network or form the Mendix app on my phone. Here is what I have tried already:  Verified that the app’s Runtime / Admin port is open to other machines Verified that JDK / Node JS is allowed through the Windows firewall Set the port forwarding for 8080/8083 for the ip address assigned to windows (Parallel Network preferences) Firewall is disabled on Mac Using the Mac IP address : 8080 Followed the instructions from https://docs.mendix.com/howto/mobile/using-mendix-studio-pro-on-a-mac   I can run a Mendix app from another PC on my network and access from Mac / Phone, It seems to be just an issue accessing when running on parallels on Mac. Looking to see if there is a setting that I am missing or something I may not have configured correctly

What i normally do is to setup the mobile phone as hotspot and connect the laptop to the hotspot. In that way you are sure the mobile phone is on the same network and can access the laptop.

Found that the issue was  checkpoint VPN client.  Even with it disconnected and client shutdown, it still caused issues.

When I uninstalled using the uninstaller in the DMG the issue was resolved.

I was facing a similar situation in the link
