Hello, I’m using Studio Pro and deploying my project locally on port 8081. Now I want to view the application on my smartphone, for testing cause. I downloaded the “Mendix Mobile” and the “Mendix mobile developer” App onto my iPhone but with both Apps opening the app on the smartphone doesn’t work. I’m connected to the same WIFI, using another smartphone Hotspot doesn’t work either. In the developer app I always get the Error message “The application could not be loaded from the given location. The location is not a Mendix application.” I saw, that this problem already occourred before, but nobody was able to solve it. The server security setting for admin and runtime port are on “open to other machines”. Thanks in advance, Maxi

Do you have a firewall running which propably blocks the port?

Hello Maxi,
Are you making a Mendix Native app? The apps you have downloaded are made for the older hybrid-style apps only, I think. Search the app store for the “Make It Native” app and give that a try.
