Transporting package to TEST instance is stuck in background, unable to start stop application

I was transporting a deployment package to TEST and it remained stuck for 30min as “transporting you package”. I then refreshed page and can see instance still has the old deployment package. Now when I try to re-deploy a package OR stop the application OR re-start application OR restore backup but in cases it says – “There is a deploy function going on and I need to wait”. Its been 6 – 7hr now since this happened and still some background deployment is going on which I am not able to terminate. How can I kill this deployment going on in background when I can not even retstart/stop application –
