Can Amazon S3 Connector work with files in excess of 1 Gb?

I think there is a practical limit for FileDocument entity to hold documents no larger than 1Gb. Can Amazon S3 Connector solve this restriction? Can I upload and download files as big as 10Gb via this connector?
