Hi I am looking for functionality which resembles whatsapp browser app where you can scan a QR code from the web with you mobile where after it you will see your whatsapp contacts and conversations. The connection is handled through websockets. I need simular functionality for my app. Currently investigating if Mendix would be a good choice building this. Thanks for any reactions in advance!

It is not easy to use websockets because Mendix uses that internally. You can create your own requesthandler, but not on port 80, so that will only work if you run the applicaiton on-promise.
