The widget is working but different as expected. You need to add the widget to a button in your model, then if the end-user clicks on the button, then the widget creates a new contact in the address book of your device. 

I would expect the widget to open the create new contact screen (native contacts app), with prefilled some contact info from your mendix app. And then you can  add some additional info and confirm to save the contact to the address book.

Does anyone know if the above scenario is possible with current widget/plugin or?
