Ii have the same issue. You will get the points but sometimes it takes hours or days to have the counter updated. Same for challenges.

That’s strange: it was broken since somewhere last week (challenges also),

but actually yesterday it started working again and I regained all (at least I think all) of my delayed points. Efforts towards challenges seems to be lost, but at least they can be completed as well again.
