I am having problems with a db backup 1:11 pm instead of having a tar.gz extension it has a DB-bestand (.db) extension annd it is not in the regular db folder. and i cant read it in postgres

Adriaan,
Sounds like you downloaded a database backup from a Free Edition. If so, what I do is change the .db file extension to .backup and then use the file as I usually do in PGAdmin restore operations.
