I took a quick look, and the first opportunity to get the training management project is in the Pages and Databinding module of the Rapid Application developer learning path.

The very first topic is about the requirements for the rest of the tutorial. And if you click on Resources you have the option to download the project package. The explanation on how to use this project package is in the Overview tab.

Because the whole learn.mendix.com site has changed lately, there might be inconsistencies (I'm not sure. If this was one of them you'd best notify Mendix of it by using the Feedback button on the right side of the page when you're having issues.
