We currently have a mobile app in the app stores and are interested in seeing if we can copyright our app. To my understanding we will have to provide the source code for the app. Being as though the Mendix platform is used to create our app, how would we obtain access to all the source code used for development? I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this or experience in this area? Thank you.

The AppStore mainly contains free apps, but indeed not all of them are free, so is possible for sure. You best take up contact with Mendix for this support@mendix.com.
