How to send email automatically on a particular scheduled date

I have an entity with email address and scheduled date. I want to send email on this particular email address on that particular date. How can I do this? Please help.

Hi Dipika, 
I would create a scheduled event, which runs every day and add a cancel criteria based on the date. 
And if this specific date has been reached, send the email
