Today I’m quite often using the feature to display an attribute value simply as a text instead of placing an input widget on a page.
However, this is currently quite time consuming as you first need to add a text element, then enter the placeholder {1}, then select the attribute you want to show.
It would be really nice if we could simply drag an attribute from the Connector panel onto a page as a Text with the corresponding placeholder. If you fill ListView’s this kind of autogeneration already takes place.
An additional option would be to change an input widget directly into the text-with-placeholder representation using a context menu.
