Create reference selector instead of textbox when dragging attribute over association onto page

Hi all,

When I drag an attribute from an associated object from the connector into a form it creates some Textbox input widget.

This Textbox seems to allow us to make changes to an associated object without having to add an extra dataview?

To me it would make more sense if when dragging an associated object in view it would create a reference selector instead.
