It would be great to have a possibility to restrict the permission to commit to a branch to a specific amount of project developers during the development.
In a situation that there is a code freeze for a specific branch, it should be possible to define not all developers are able to commit to this branch and only a specific amount is allowed to do that. This should prevent the accidential commits.
