We have a few listviews which should be sorted descending but because of this bug we now have to rebuild some listviews in template grids. The customer is not happy with this, because template grids works differently and it cost us time to restyle them to let them look like a listview. ( Mx 7.23.4 )
It's beter to file a ticket with support (widget is platform supported) or file an issue on GitHub for this.
