XML import/export of Excel import templates

It would be nice to have the possibility to export and import an excel import template to xml.

As these templates need to be configured for several environments

Ard,

I believe this is part of the Excel Importer module already. On the Templates_Overview page in that module, you’ll see a button entitled Export Template which calls a microflow named ExcelTemplate_ExportToXML. There is a corresponding Import Template button.

Is your idea something different from that?
