How about updating the SVN version of the Modeler client to one that is actually supported? There have been no updates to 1.7 since 2015, and even 1.8 is now unsupported. I appreciate that there is a change to the way it works, but surely this could have been addressed in 5 and a half years since 1.8 was released?
Git would also work. The issue is really with mandating the use of an unsupported version.
What is the benefit to us in upgrading? Will new features be available? And if they put effort in upgrading SVN, why not change to Git?
