Today the version number is noted only in the release notes and maybe as a item in the module. There are no warnings if you run with a old version. Time is wasted trying to debug a problem that was fixed in version that was released during a project.
It would be great if the modeler could could identify at build time if you are using a old version of a add-on when there is a newer version available, e.g. by showing warnings in the Error list.
