Add possibility for confirmation on Sign out button

Currently we can add a "Sign-out button", or define the "Sign out" event for any button in the interface. However it's not possible to Ask confirmation like with microflows. Googling this I've found multiple questions on the Mendix forum on workarounds to allow a confirmation before signing out, either with a custom page or with a microflow and java action. Can't the confirmation be added to the Sign out event, just like the call microflow event?
